Lorna Suarez, COTA/L

Lorna is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and has 25 years of experience . Lorna graduated from Polk State College in 2001. She has experience in geriatric, and pediatric care. Lorna has worked in skilled nursing facilities, outpatient pediatric clinics, school settings, PPEC ( pediatric prescribed extended care clinics) and home health care settings.  She taught “Intro to OT” as an adjunct professor for the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at Polk State College for two Spring Semesters 2019 and 2020.

Lorna is originally from Puerto Rico and grew up in Central Florida, and is fully bilingual in Spanish and English. Lorna goes to the gym on a daily basis, enjoys the beach, traveling and outdoor adventures.
