Sarena Foreman, MS, CF-SLP

Sarena Foreman is a Speech-Language Pathologist originally from California who earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Carolina in 2025. Over the past five years, she has worked in pediatric speech-language pathology and has experience supporting children with a variety of communication needs.

 

Sarena has a special interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), autism-based services, feeding therapy, and myofunctional therapy. She particularly enjoys helping families navigate AAC and supporting children in becoming confident communicators. Sarena is passionate about creating individualized, family-centered therapy plans that help children build meaningful communication skills, increase confidence, and find their unique voice. She is also continuing to expand her expertise in feeding and myofunctional therapy services to better support the children and families she serves.

 

After recently relocating to Alaska, Sarena has enjoyed exploring all that the Kenai Peninsula has to offer. When she is not in the clinic, she enjoys birding, wildlife photography, and spending time outdoors searching for eagles, shorebirds, and other local wildlife. She loves exploring Homer and neighboring communities, traveling to new places, spending time with friends and family, and relaxing at home with her cat, Macchi.
