Johanna "Jo" Swedberg, SLPA

Hi, I’m Jo, a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with a strong passion for supporting individuals with communication needs. I’ve worked primarily in school settings, gaining hands on experience while continuing to grow in the field.

 

I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and love combining my academic journey with real world experience as an SLPA. I’m especially passionate about helping clients build confidence in their communication skills through meaningful and individualized therapy.

 

I'm originally from northern Minnesota, but I’ve been proud to call Anchorage home for the past two years. I value building strong, trusting relationships with the individuals and families I work with, and I strive to create a supportive and engaging therapy environment every day.

 

It’s a privilege to support meaningful progress in communication and connection every day. Working in this field brings me so much joy, and I’m excited to serve the children and families of Homer.
