Changing Tides Therapy Services is seeking a skilled and passionate Pediatric Occupational
Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our clinic, you'll have
the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families while enjoying
a supportive and positive work environment.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Current and valid Alaska license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant and comply with State of Alaska licensure requirements.
Certification: Active NBCOT certification and in good standing
Passion for Pediatric Care: Demonstrated dedication and enthusiasm for working with children and helping them reach their functional goals.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and team members.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to adjust treatment plans based on individual client needs and progress.
Empathy and Compassion: Strong interpersonal skills and empathy to understand and support the unique challenges children and their families may face.
Creativity: Capacity to develop engaging and fun therapy sessions that motivate children to actively participate in their treatment.
